About the Author

Mike Smith earned a humanities degree from Loyola Marymount University and honed his cartooning skills by day while pumping gas at National Car Rental at LAX Airport at night. He has been working on the staff of the "Las Vegas Sun" as an editorial cartoonist since 1983.
