About the Author

Nicole Westmarland is Professor of Criminology and Director of the Centre for Research into Violence and Abuse at Durham University in the UK. Anna-Lena Almqvist is Associate Professor of Social Work in the School of Health, Care and Social Welfare at Mälardalen University in Sweden. Linn Egeberg Holmgren is Senior Lecturer in Social Work at Centre for Social Work (CESAR) in the Department of Sociology at Uppsala University in Sweden. Sandy Ruxton is an independent policy advisor and researcher, and an Honorary Research Fellow at Durham University in the UK. Stephen Robert Burrell is Assistant Professor (Research) in the Department of Sociology at Durham University in the UK.
