About the Author

Kathleen Ripley Leo is an award-winning author, a leader of workshops, conferences, and seminars on creative writing. She has written eight volumes of poetry and edited multiple anthologies. She received two Special Tributes from the Michigan Legislature for her work as a Creative Writer in the Schools made possible thru grants from National Endowment for the Arts and Michigan Council for the Arts. Kathleen is a member of the American Academy of Poets, Association of Writers and Writing Programs, and Detroit Working Writers. She is listed in the Poets and Writers directory. She lives in Northville, Michigan, with her husband, Victor, who is a glass artist.
