Description

"I am a dirty dog"Yes, I am a dirty dog according to 99% of all major denominations in America that have taught for years that the Christian is under the law of tithing. I refuse to teach that believers in the Lord Jesus Christ are under any obligation to keep the Law of Moses, or the Law of the Baptists, Presbyterians, Pentecostals; or any other church; that is contrary to sound doctrine for saved people living on this side of the cross of Jesus Christ. Is tithing a Bible doctrine? Yes, it is. Is the Bible doctrine of tithing applicable to the Christians after the cross? No, it is not It is no more applicable to the Church Age Christian than the doctrine of burnt offerings, or Sabbath keeping. The Christian is not now, nor ever has been, under the law of tithing; and I will attempt to explain why that is so in the following pages. The intent of this booklet is to look at the New Covenant standard for our money, time, and talents, according to the Pauline epistles. Paul laid down the Bible method of giving for Christians after the cross. We will also look at giving before the Law and also under the Law. The truth of what an after-the-cross Christian is to give is crystal clear in the Holy Bible; and we can of a certainty know God's will in regards to what he wants done; in this age in which we live, that is, who should give, how much they should give, and to whom they should give it; and brethren the tithe doesn't even win, place, or show.
