Race wars devolved into bloody civil wars.

Just when man was about to exterminate himself, the asteroid Wormwood appeared and nearly finished the job. Rather than suffer a slow death, mankind pooled their resources and fought back to save the planet, and themselves.

Once the dust settled, a new plague appeared. One that brought back old tensions and pitted brother against brother as people began to change. Old tensions arose as those afflicted were targeted by the fearful.
