Book Signing: Bruce Turner - Left-Lane Driver: Anecdotes from a 22-Year Commute

In 1982, Bruce Turner began an odyssey of sorts: a twice-weekly, 160-mile commute between Blacksburg, Virginia, and Johnson City, Tennessee. During that commute, which went on for 22 years, Bruce encountered a slice of southern Americana that produced some of the strangest on-the-road adventures imaginable -- think Jack Kerouac meets Bill Bryson. Turner is a superb raconteur, and Left-Lane Driver is sure to become a cult classic, not only for its storytelling style, but because it contains some of the weirdest anecdotes you're ever likely to read. Bruce Turner is an associate professor emeritus at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia.
